Thursday Evenings

Sparkling Frozen Strawberry Lemonade is the perfect thing to cool off and chill out with.

Thursdays are my favorite day of the week – specifically, Thursday evenings after 5 o’clock!  It’s all about the anticipation of the whole weekend ahead…spending time with my hubby, sleeping in late and then making brunch, taking walks outside or drives in the country, or having time to read a book…I love weekends!  (I know Fridays are still technically a weekday, but I usually only work a half day on Fridays and they fly by, so I feel like a little celebration is in order on Thursday nights.  :) )

Whether it’s date night out or meeting up with friends, happy hour can be a fun way to relax.  Mike and I don’t drink alcohol, but we still enjoy happy hour to the fullest.  He likes NA beer and an occasional NA fruity frozen drink (think virgin margaritas, daiquiris, and punches), and I like the fact that we get to eat a bunch of little bites for dinner.  (It’s so much fun sampling a variety of foods without having to commit to one big dish!)

And the best part is, being out without a care in the world always feels a little bit like a mini vacation.

What’s your favorite occasion for enjoying happy hour?

When you need an escape from the daily grind, or just a place to unwind with friends, go to your Margarita Place.  Go to Chili’s.  Our daily specials on margaritas and appetizers are the perfect excuse for you and your friends to get together after work.  Premium margaritas, boneless buffalo wings and hanging out with friends at Chili’s – there’s no better way to end your day.
