Bubble baths? A good book? Maybe wine or dark chocolate? What’s your favorite way to unwind and indulge?
Getting in the kitchen without any prior agenda and just creating something with what I have on hand is my favorite way to decompress and unwind after a hard week or even just a long day. And of course, chocolate is one of my favorite indulgences.
I’m always up for sampling a new chocolate product, so when I recently had the opportunity to try Kraft’s PHILADELPHIA INDULGENCE chocolate spreads I was all for it. The spread comes in three flavors: white chocolate, milk chocolate, and dark chocolate. At the grocery store I chose two out of the three flavors to try: white and dark (dark chocolate is my true love, so that choice was a given, but I was also intrigued as to what the white chocolate would taste like).
Before tasting the spreads I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but once I did I was blown away…they really were that good. The dark chocolate spread was thick, rich, and intensely chocolaty, reminding me very much of a fudgy frosting that you’d use to frost a devil’s food cake. The white chocolate spread was lighter in texture (almost fluffy, like a whipped frosting), and tasted like cream cheese frosting that’s amazing on things like carrot cake.

So, how did I use the spreads? They were delicious on crackers, as a dip for fruit and pretzels, and even as frosting for cupcakes. But really, eating it off a spoon right out of the container is just as delicious. ;)

Oh, those must taste wonderful! I hope well get them over here soon…
Chers,

This stuff sounds insane good. Especially the chocolate. What a fun treat!
I think the idea itself is worth investigating… It would sure be easy enough to start with a base of vegan cream cheese and blend in chocolate. I’d love to play around with that concept! Sounds like instant frosting that’s acceptable to use as a spread on toast. Not bad at all. ;)
These sound wonderful….and dangerous to have around!! ;)
Wow—these sound amazing! I’d probably concoct them myself rather than buy them, but I love the idea!
These sound delicious – hope they arrive in the UK soon! Love the white chocolate version.
I’m not sure I needed to know these existed! I know without a doubt that I would love them!

I haven’t heard of these products! Oh, how tempting. When I saw the first picture, it looked so rich and shiny I thought it was pure melted chocolate. I can imagine how delicious it was! The cupcakes sound great-can’t wait to hear more!
These were on sale recently at my local supermarket. I didn’t get any though because I had no idea what to do with them. Great idea to use the white as frosting. Never thought of that!
