So, about bananas. I’ve been buying them like crazy because Mike’s on one of his breakfast kicks (remember his orange phase?). Lately he’s been eating a banana a day for breakfast, but until about a week ago he refused to touch a banana that had a single brown spot on it. I make granola frequently and I’ve shared a couple recipes for it (this Pumpkin Spice version is one of my favs when autumn is in the air and even when it’s not), but I’ve never tried my hand at homemade cereal before. (You know, the flake kind.) Until now.
Along with apples, oats are one thing I try to eat every day (gosh, I sound like a horse when I put it like that, lol! Even more so when I mention that I drink bucket loads of water too). Oh well, it’s delicious to me! I like oats in any form (oatmeal, granola, cookies, breads, etc.), and I especially enjoy eating them for breakfast, so I was thrilled when I recently had the opportunity to try out some Love Grown granola.
