I can’t believe June is here! And yet here it is, not to mention one-third of it is gone. Time is whirring by; before we know it Labor Day will be here and we’ll be pulling on our sweaters and scarves again (for those of us who live up north, anyway). I wish I could slow things down just a bit, and really make the most of every season. Sometimes an afternoon of tea, treats, and friends is the best thing for it.
I couldn’t have been happier when I recently had the opportunity to try a few treats from Divine Delights, including Lindsay’s Teas and the Spring Flowers Petit Fours. I knew an afternoon of relaxation was the real treat…
The Lemon Hibiscus Tea was my favorite. It’s an herbal blend with a refreshing sweet/tart, floral flavor from hibiscus and lemongrass, and it brews up to the prettiest shade of pink. I found that its flavor pairs very well with strawberries.
The Spring Flowers Petit Fours are rich and moist little three layer cakes with deep almond flavor, adorned with pretty little white chocolate flowers. The assortment includes the following: Raspberry Creme, Apricot, Pineapple, Truffle, Strawberry, and Lemon; my favorite was the apricot because it reminded me of Venetian Rainbow cookies, which are a favorite of mine from way back.
In addition to gorgeous petit fours and flavorful teas, Divine Delights offers an assortment of cookies, cakes, and chocolates, with lovely seasonal items. To stay up-to-date and for the chance to win something delectable from Divine Delights, “Like” them on Facebook!
