Instant Pot Butternut Squash Soup Recipe

November 20, 2020 by Faith Leave a Comment

This Instant Pot Butternut Squash Soup Recipe is rich and creamy, laced with warm spices, and has a sweet earthy flavor that’s enhanced with a touch of brown sugar. It’s the perfect fall soup, and the best part is, it’s made from start-to-finish in the Instant Pot with just 15 minutes of hands-on prep time!

Every fall my mom makes an incredible squash soup. It’s creamy and velvety, with a touch of warm spices, a hint of sweet maple, and rich squash flavor.

She makes it with four types of squash: butternut, acorn, buttercup, and pumpkin. And she roasts them first to bring out their natural sweet, earthy flavor.…

Brown Sugar Sweet Potato Pumpkin Soup

This smooth and creamy Brown Sugar Sweet Potato Pumpkin Soup Recipe is the perfect combination of sweet and savory flavors with rich, velvety texture. Among the many reasons I adore Wegmans is their soup bar. Their store-bought soups actually taste homemade. Balsamic & Brown Sugar Fig Canapés

August 13, 2009 by Faith 24 Comments

These pretty little morsels are perfect for a picnic or party.  They’re portable and they taste amazing served straight out of the oven or at room temperature.  This recipe makes 24 two-bite sized canapés, but you can adjust this number based on how large or small you make them.  These were delicious as is, but next time I make them I think I’ll experiment and add a sprinkle of something on the top…maybe powdered sugar or basil chiffonade?  Any other garnish suggestions?…I would love to hear them!    I’m sending this recipe off to Kamran at The Sophisticated Gourmet for this week’s BSI…brown sugar!   […]...
