Orange Chocolate Cupcakes

November 18, 2019 by Faith Leave a Comment

Orange Chocolate Cupcakes on Decorative Dark Metal Tray

Orange Chocolate Cupcakes have a soft, tender crumb and are aromatic with orange and rich with chocolate. A beautiful white chocolate drizzle on top means there’s no need for frosting! There’s no reason cupcakes have to be complicated. And there’s no need for them to have a mountain of frosting on top (although I admit, mmmm, frosting! But they can be just as good without it). If you’re looking for the perfect thing to whip up for a party or gathering, my Orange Chocolate Muffins are it. They’re a wonderful addition to a dessert table (perfect for the holidays!), and if it’s a special occasion, […]...

Oatmeal Cream Pies with Rum-Raisin Brown Sugar Buttercream Frosting

October 7, 2019 by Faith 32 Comments

Inspired by Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies, these Oatmeal Cream Pies with Rum-Raisin Brown Sugar Buttercream Frosting give those classic cookie sandwiches a grown-up twist! Was anyone else a fan of the Little Debbie cream-filled oatmeal cookie sandwiches (aka Oatmeal Creme Pies) as a kid? They were a very rare treat for my sister and I! Mom never bought them, which made them all the more fun to eat at our friends’ houses when mom wasn’t around. (Shhh, lol.)...

Chewy Cinnamon Pecan Brown Butter Oatmeal Cookies

June 10, 2019 by Faith 2 Comments

Overhead View of Chewy Cinnamon Pecan Brown Butter Oatmeal Cookies with Glass of Milk

Chewy Cinnamon Pecan Brown Butter Oatmeal Cookies have nutty, caramel flavor notes and a lovely balance of chewy and crispy textures. I went through a phase where I loved chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. I’d add just a pinch of cinnamon (because it’s a classic addition to oatmeal cookies), and use extra brown sugar to give the cookies caramel notes. With a little flaky sea salt sprinkled on top (like my Small Batch Bakery Style Chocolate Chip Cookies), they had a balanced flavor profile and were completely addictive....

Just like candy canes at Christmas, after Easter you’ll probably have leftover Robin Eggs candy. This easy drop cookie recipe puts it to good use! Paired with toasted coconut and vanilla sugar cookies, the malted chocolate flavor of Robin Eggs is delicious here. But you don’t have to wait until after Easter to make them. These cookies are a lovely addition to your springtime holiday dessert table!...

Fudgy Guinness Brownies with Dark Chocolate Ganache Recipe

March 4, 2019 by Faith 2 Comments

Close Up Overhead View of Fudgy Guinness Brownies with Dark Chocolate Ganache

This recipe for Fudgy Guinness Brownies with Dark Chocolate Ganache features rich, honey-sweetened chocolate brownies to balance out the flavor of stout. They’re topped with a velvety layer of dark chocolate ganache to make them extra decadent! Guinness isn’t just for drinking, and it’s not only for savory soups and stews! Guinness is a dry Irish stout that has rich brown color and coffee and caramel flavor notes thanks to roasted barley. It pairs really beautifully with a lot of baked goods, especially chocolate cakes and brownies....

Small Batch Bakery Style Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Small Batch Bakery Style Chocolate Chip Cookies on Wooden Pastry Stand with Dark Linen

These Small Batch Bakery Style Chocolate Chip Cookies are thick and chewy with rich buttery flavor, hints of caramel and vanilla, and topped with a touch of flaky sea salt for a balanced flavor profile. And they are so EASY to make! They were made with love to support a very important cause, Good Cookies Food Bloggers’ Valentines Event, organized by Julie! I’m pretty excited about today’s post, not only because of the cookies (that goes without saying), but mostly because of what these cookies are supporting. My dear friend Julie from The Little Kitchen (check out her blog because it’s absolutely beautiful!) organized an […]...

Healthy Snickers Protein Bars (Low Carb)

December 3, 2018 by Faith 6 Comments

Overhead View of Healthy Snickers Protein Bars (Low Carb) on Metal Tray

My low carb Healthy Snickers Protein Bars feature a protein-rich nougat layer topped with homemade keto caramel (don’t worry, it’s easy to make!) and peanuts, and are coated in rich, dark chocolate. I don’t think I’ve ever met someone who hasn’t tried a Snickers candy bar. Further, I can’t remember anyone telling me that they didn’t like Snickers! It’s a great combination of flavors and textures, which is why it was a top choice for me when I was trying to decide what kind of homemade protein bar I wanted to make....

Chocolate Peanut Butter Chia Pudding (Tastes Like Healthy Peanut Butter Pie!)

September 10, 2018 by Faith 2 Comments

Front View of Chocolate Peanut Butter Chia Pudding (Tastes Like Healthy Peanut Butter Pie!)

This Chocolate Peanut Butter Chia Pudding tastes like healthy peanut butter pie, but is nourishing enough to enjoy for breakfast. I still remember the first time I had peanut butter pie; truthfully, it was by no means healthy peanut butter pie! This wasn’t a pie I grew up with; my mom was an apple and pumpkin pie maker, so I was an adult the first time I had it. I was in college at the time, and it was at a chain diner, I think Perkins, if I’m not mistaken, or maybe it was Denny’s. I remember thinking, Oh wow, that’s what I’ve been missing […]...

Robin Eggs Vanilla Sugar Cookie Cups with Strawberry White Chocolate Ganache

March 16, 2018 by Faith Leave a Comment

Front View of Robin Eggs Vanilla Sugar Cookie Cups with Strawberry White Chocolate Ganache

Robin’s Egg Vanilla Sugar Cookie Cups with Strawberry White Chocolate Ganache are an adorably spring-y Easter-themed treat. White chocolate really is an interesting thing. To me, it doesn’t taste like chocolate at all (although the aroma of cacao butter – white chocolate in its purest form – is deeply chocolaty and pretty fantastic), and since it can be considered a byproduct of making cocoa powder (which is then used as-is or made into milk or dark chocolate) some people don’t think of white chocolate as chocolate at all!...

Pelmeni are Russian meat dumplings frequently serv Pelmeni are Russian meat dumplings frequently served with a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkling of fresh dill. You can boil or fry them, they freeze like a dream (and they cook directly from frozen!), and they make a big batch so you’ll have a freezer stash of easy dinners for busy nights. But fair warning, these are definitely a labor of love. I made them last spring on a Zoom call with ma chérie Evelyne of @cultureatz that involved ridiculous amounts of laughter, and the shenanigans of us hand making about 100 dumplings each! I’m definitely a bad blogger for not sharing the recipe until now lol. But it’s (finally!) up and you can check it out on @anediblemosaic 🥰 —> https://www.anediblemosaic.com/pelmeni-recipe-russian-dumplings/ #dumplings #dumplingsfordays #russianfood #pelmeni #foodstyling #foodstylist #foodphotography #photography #moodygrams #lightandshadow
The other day Dan and I were at an antique store a The other day Dan and I were at an antique store and we happened to find one of the vendors who was putting out #vintage #valentinesday cards she had found in one of her storage units. 💌 These are from the 1930s/1940s! She was a third generation antique dealer and she said she still has several full rooms to sort through! (I love the treasure hunt of that, it’s like exploring in your grandparents’ attic.) Anyway, I had to buy a couple cards because they’re completely charming. #happyvalentinesday, lovelies. 🥰 #valentines #romantic #flatlay #valentinesmood #vintageprops #propstyling #propstylist #photography
#ad If you’re looking for a romantic meal to mak #ad If you’re looking for a romantic meal to make for your sweetheart for Valentine’s Day this weekend, you’ve come to the right place! This meal is easy, fast (no one will guess it whips up in less than 15 minutes!), and impressive. And soooo good. 🥰

What’s on the menu? Pan seared chicken in a savory cream sauce. Steamed green beans. And Fresh Blends Ready to Cook Idaho Potatoes!

Let’s talk sides first. Steamed green beans are easy, and they round out the meal well. Or you could go with broccoli if you want.

The real star of the side dish show are these flavorful @eagleeyeproduce potatoes! They’re family grown in Idaho. Fresh-cut, never cooked, never frozen, with no preservatives. And they cook up easily with a one-step cooking process (just 8 minutes in the microwave, or you can do them on the stovetop to get them crispy). Check out their website to find their store locator to see where they’re available near you --> https://eagleeyeproduce.com/store-locator/

And now the chicken! Inspired by the famous “Marry Me Chicken”, this recipe checks all the right boxes and has all the bells and whistles. Chicken cutlets cook up quick on the stovetop, and then a luscious cream sauce flavored with garlic, fresh herbs, and sundried tomatoes cooks in the same skillet. Take a look at the recipe in the comments below.

Who says a beautiful, romantic meal has to be complicated, right? ❤️

This small batch recipe of Red Velvet Cupcakes is This small batch recipe of Red Velvet Cupcakes is the perfect dessert for you and your sweetheart this Valentine's Day, and it's even more special because it was made for a cause. ❤️

This is the 5th year in a row that Julie from @thelittlekitchn has organized the Cookies for Kid's Cancer Valentine's Event to raise money and awareness for childhood cancer, and I'm honored to be part of it.

Cancer is the top cause of death of children by disease in the U.S. There are 40,000 U.S. children actively battling cancer right now. And the National Cancer Institute’s budget for childhood cancer is less than 4%.⁣
⁣
You can help make a difference by donating to @cookies4kids. Our goal is to raise at least $3000. Thank you to @OXO, @Mediavine and @Dixie_Crystals who have each pledged to match our donations raised through this campaign up to $3000!⁣
