Ingredients
Layer the ingredients in a slow cooker and pour in the broth. Don't stir!
Cook on LOW for 7 to 8 hours or on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours. Mix together the cream and cornstarch to make a slurry, and stir that into the soup during the last 15-30 minutes.
Serve garnished with crispy bacon and fresh chives.
