Coarsely chop the cranberries (I use the food processor).
Stir together the ingredients for the cranberry filling and let it sit until liquidy, about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Cook the cranberry filling until jammy, and then let it cool.
Make the pie dough, shape it into disks, and chill.
Assemble and bake the pie.
Let it cool and then slice and enjoy!
