Pistachio Rosemary Healthy Flatbread Pizza Recipe

April 20, 2020 by Faith 170 Comments

If you’re craving pizza, but want to keep things on the lighter side, this Healthy Flatbread Pizza Recipe is the way to go! Pistachio, rosemary, and ricotta create an elegant flavor profile, but you can use the same method and customize the toppings to make it your own.

What’s your favorite style of pizza? Deep-dish? Thin-crust? Thick and chewy?

Pizza is such a regional food here in the U.S., I’m guessing your answer might be different based on where you live.…

Honey-Apple Cranberry Ginger Tisane

January 5, 2018 by Faith Leave a Comment

Pot of Honey-Apple Cranberry Ginger Tisane on Wooden Crate

Thank you Council for Responsible Nutrition for sponsoring this post. This is #MyWeekSupplemented. Honey-Apple Cranberry Ginger Tisane is a soothing, hot drink that’s rich with nutrients and full of flavor. Whenever someone tells me that they don’t take vitamins or dietary supplements, their reason is typically because they eat healthy. The quality of food we put into our bodies is obviously a vital aspect of health (which is why I try to buy organic and grass-fed products as much as I can, especially when it comes to dairy, meat, and the dirty dozen), but there are a few pieces to the puzzle that also should […]...

Chai-Spiced Vanilla Shortbread Cookies

Chai-Spiced Vanilla Shortbread Cookies Top View Vertical Orientation

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #TeaProudly #CollectiveBias Chai-Spiced Vanilla Shortbread Cookies are laced with vanilla bean and richly spiced, the perfect fall afternoon treat with a steaming cup of tea! One of my favorite memories of fall while I was growing up in Western New York is driving out to the country for a trip to a pumpkin patch. We’d walk around the patch looking for what we thought was the best pumpkin; basically, the biggest one we could find that was perfectly Jack-O-Lantern-shaped. After that, we’d head home and continue the festivities […]...

Jerk Roasted Chicken Thighs and Sweet Potato Dinner with Creamy Honey-Jalapeno Sauce {Paleo}

October 28, 2016 by Faith 6 Comments

Switch up your regular chicken dinner routine with this paleo Jamaican-inspired Jerk Roasted Chicken Thighs and Sweet Potato Dinner with Creamy Honey-Jalapeno Sauce. The more I have the chance to spend time in different areas of the country, the more I realize that where you’re from is often depicted in the way you drive. In your car is where things get real. When my sister lived in North Carolina, she told me about what she liked to call Southern charm. She said everyone is sweet as a Georgia peach pie (as in, ohhh, bless her heart) until they get into their car and then it’s no […]...

No-Cook Superfood Chocolate Fudge {Paleo}

August 24, 2016 by Faith 4 Comments

The only thing better than chocolate is chocolate that’s as nourishing as it is delicious; this paleo No-Cook Superfood Chocolate Fudge fits the bill perfectly. Keep it stashed away in your fridge for when your deepest chocolate cravings hit. The term “superfood” is such a trendy buzz word that for me usually conjures up images of things like leafy greens, grapefruit, salmon, and olive oil. Maybe even dark chocolate. But truthfully, butter never crossed my mind. That is, until I met Heba of EatLuv and discovered her passion for top-quality clarified butter (ghee), which provides a whole host of health benefits....

Almond Butter Chicken Stew with Pineapple-Mint Relish {Whole30}

February 29, 2016 by Faith 15 Comments

Almond Butter Chicken Stew with Pineapple-Mint Relish is a paleo and Whole30 compliant meal! I’ve been making variations of this lovely stew for literally years now. Sometimes I’ll add pineapple right into the stew, and sometimes I’ll sprinkle on a little Vanilla-Scented Toasted Coconut-Cashew Mix on top. Occasionally I’ll skip the greens (but I admit, I much prefer this with greens added!), and if I’m feeling adventurous I’ll use mustard greens, collard greens, or chard instead of kale. No matter what unique twist you put on it, you can’t go wrong with this meal....

Date, Walnut, and Blue Cheese Ball

December 4, 2012 by Faith 17 Comments

Around the holidays, I’ve noticed that in addition to loads of requests for cookie recipes, new appetizer ideas are always high in demand. Parties are frequent, and what better to serve than a spread of appetizers where people can come and go as they munch and chat, eating little bites from their favorite dishes....

Pelmeni are Russian meat dumplings frequently serv Pelmeni are Russian meat dumplings frequently served with a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkling of fresh dill. You can boil or fry them, they freeze like a dream (and they cook directly from frozen!), and they make a big batch so you’ll have a freezer stash of easy dinners for busy nights. But fair warning, these are definitely a labor of love. I made them last spring on a Zoom call with ma chérie Evelyne of @cultureatz that involved ridiculous amounts of laughter, and the shenanigans of us hand making about 100 dumplings each! I’m definitely a bad blogger for not sharing the recipe until now lol. But it’s (finally!) up and you can check it out on @anediblemosaic 🥰 —> https://www.anediblemosaic.com/pelmeni-recipe-russian-dumplings/ #dumplings #dumplingsfordays #russianfood #pelmeni #foodstyling #foodstylist #foodphotography #photography #moodygrams #lightandshadow
The other day Dan and I were at an antique store a The other day Dan and I were at an antique store and we happened to find one of the vendors who was putting out #vintage #valentinesday cards she had found in one of her storage units. 💌 These are from the 1930s/1940s! She was a third generation antique dealer and she said she still has several full rooms to sort through! (I love the treasure hunt of that, it’s like exploring in your grandparents’ attic.) Anyway, I had to buy a couple cards because they’re completely charming. #happyvalentinesday, lovelies. 🥰 #valentines #romantic #flatlay #valentinesmood #vintageprops #propstyling #propstylist #photography
#ad If you’re looking for a romantic meal to mak #ad If you’re looking for a romantic meal to make for your sweetheart for Valentine’s Day this weekend, you’ve come to the right place! This meal is easy, fast (no one will guess it whips up in less than 15 minutes!), and impressive. And soooo good. 🥰

What’s on the menu? Pan seared chicken in a savory cream sauce. Steamed green beans. And Fresh Blends Ready to Cook Idaho Potatoes!

Let’s talk sides first. Steamed green beans are easy, and they round out the meal well. Or you could go with broccoli if you want.

The real star of the side dish show are these flavorful @eagleeyeproduce potatoes! They’re family grown in Idaho. Fresh-cut, never cooked, never frozen, with no preservatives. And they cook up easily with a one-step cooking process (just 8 minutes in the microwave, or you can do them on the stovetop to get them crispy). Check out their website to find their store locator to see where they’re available near you --> https://eagleeyeproduce.com/store-locator/

And now the chicken! Inspired by the famous “Marry Me Chicken”, this recipe checks all the right boxes and has all the bells and whistles. Chicken cutlets cook up quick on the stovetop, and then a luscious cream sauce flavored with garlic, fresh herbs, and sundried tomatoes cooks in the same skillet. Take a look at the recipe in the comments below.

Who says a beautiful, romantic meal has to be complicated, right? ❤️

This small batch recipe of Red Velvet Cupcakes is This small batch recipe of Red Velvet Cupcakes is the perfect dessert for you and your sweetheart this Valentine's Day, and it's even more special because it was made for a cause. ❤️

This is the 5th year in a row that Julie from @thelittlekitchn has organized the Cookies for Kid's Cancer Valentine's Event to raise money and awareness for childhood cancer, and I'm honored to be part of it.

Cancer is the top cause of death of children by disease in the U.S. There are 40,000 U.S. children actively battling cancer right now. And the National Cancer Institute’s budget for childhood cancer is less than 4%.⁣
⁣
You can help make a difference by donating to @cookies4kids. Our goal is to raise at least $3000. Thank you to @OXO, @Mediavine and @Dixie_Crystals who have each pledged to match our donations raised through this campaign up to $3000!⁣

It really is crazy delicious and it whips up in just 10 minutes in the microwave (and it has just 5g net carbs per serving!). And so here it is, lol.
