Bacon Egg Salad Recipe with Creamy Honey Mustard Dressing

April 29, 2020 by Faith 7 Comments

This Bacon Egg Salad Recipe with Creamy Honey Mustard Dressing is full of flavor and makes a perfect quick meal or packed lunch.

Egg Salad with Bacon and Creamy Honey Mustard Dressing

Growing up, the only thing worse than finding tunafish in my lunchbox was finding egg salad there.

And the real problem was that I (and everyone else) knew it was there even before I opened my lunch. (Such is the problem of potent-smelling sandwiches when you’re a kid!)…

Egg Skillet Breakfast Recipe

Overhead View of Egg Skillet Breakfast in White Bowl with Fork

Sunny-side-up fried eggs, fresh salsa, avocado, queso fresco, and fresh herbs come together for a 10-minute Egg Skillet Breakfast Recipe that packs a punch of flavor and nutrition. Do you prefer a sweet or savory breakfast? Something like my Sous Vide Egg Bites with Bacon and Cheddar (it’s a Starbucks copycat!) are ideal. But truthfully, it doesn’t matter much to me, but the one requirement I have is that it’s fast. Cottage cheese, unsweetened yogurt, or even dinner leftovers are all fair game....

Sous Vide Egg Bites with Bacon and Cheddar (Starbucks Copycat)

Sous Vide Egg Bites with Bacon and Cheddar with Mug of Coffee

If you enjoy the sous vide egg bites at Starbucks, this Sous Vide Egg Bites with Bacon and Cheddar recipe is for you! Each egg bite has just 1g net carbs. And I make this recipe in an electric pressure cooker so it cooks up fast! I’m really not a fast food girl. And also, I’m not much of a fad food girl, either. But since Starbucks came out with their sous vide egg bites, they’ve been my go-to when I’m there getting work done for hours on end and need sustenance. A girl’s gotta eat, right?...

Overhead View of Herbed Eggs Baked in Cream with Feta with Cup of Coffee

Herbed Eggs Baked in Cream with Feta makes a stunning brunch; it’s perfect for Sunday morning or a special occasion like Mother’s Day! It’s gluten free and naturally low carb. With Mother’s Day less than a week away, I wanted to share a beautiful brunch recipe to make for mom. As soon as I was old enough to cook it was one of my favorite hobbies, so when celebrations like Mother’s Day came around I loved having a reason to get in the kitchen. My sister and I would whip up pancakes, French toast, or eggs for mom. This recipe for Herbed Eggs Baked in […]...

Sumac-Spiced Baked Eggs with Kale {Paleo}

December 19, 2016 by Faith 1 Comment

Paleo Sumac-Spiced Baked Eggs with Kale are just different enough to be more interesting than your average egg dish, but not so off-the-wall that they’re not a crowd-pleaser. Sumac adds a pleasantly tangy flavor that nicely compliments the earthy kale. Last Friday evening, Mike and I photographed and catered a private event. It ended up being a pretty random thing for us; a friend of a friend needed a caterer and I was recommended to cook, and as a total bonus Mike was available for photography. What was the event? A sweetheart of a guy was proposing to his girlfriend (and she said yes!) and […]...

Broccoli and Red Pepper Egg Muffins {Gluten-Free; Lactose-Free}

June 17, 2016 by Faith 5 Comments

Broccoli and Red Pepper Egg Muffins are great for whipping up on the weekend for breakfast during the week; and bonus, they’re an easy way to get vegetables into your diet at breakfast! I’ve noticed Murphy’s Law at work, particularly in situations when time is of the essence. Like an hour and a half before Mike and I were supposed to leave for the airport for our flight to London (BTW, if you’re interested you can check out a few of our London pictures in this post), when we went to get our passports out only to realize that the key to the lockbox where […]...

Western Omelette Recipe

January 8, 2016 by Faith 12 Comments

This Western Omelette Recipe is loaded with bell pepper, onion, and cheese! For a vegetarian version, I omitted the ham and added mushrooms. It makes a delicious and easy meal any time of day! The thing about eggs that is simultaneously fabulous and frustrating is that they’re best served right away. (Of course there are exceptions to every rule, and the one that immediately comes to mind with eggs is hard-boiled! But you get the idea.)...

Cheesy English Muffins with Smoky Balsamic Red Pepper Compote and Fried Eggs

May 18, 2015 by Faith 15 Comments

Have I ever mentioned that I went through a random egg-averse phase in college? Yup, it’s true. I went four years without eating so much as a single egg on its own. I think it was the sight/smell of eggs at the cafeteria on campus that turned me off to them because I went back to my previous egg-loving ways just about right after graduation....

Pelmeni are Russian meat dumplings frequently serv Pelmeni are Russian meat dumplings frequently served with a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkling of fresh dill. You can boil or fry them, they freeze like a dream (and they cook directly from frozen!), and they make a big batch so you’ll have a freezer stash of easy dinners for busy nights. But fair warning, these are definitely a labor of love. I made them last spring on a Zoom call with ma chérie Evelyne of @cultureatz that involved ridiculous amounts of laughter, and the shenanigans of us hand making about 100 dumplings each! I’m definitely a bad blogger for not sharing the recipe until now lol. But it’s (finally!) up and you can check it out on @anediblemosaic 🥰 —> https://www.anediblemosaic.com/pelmeni-recipe-russian-dumplings/ #dumplings #dumplingsfordays #russianfood #pelmeni #foodstyling #foodstylist #foodphotography #photography #moodygrams #lightandshadow
The other day Dan and I were at an antique store a The other day Dan and I were at an antique store and we happened to find one of the vendors who was putting out #vintage #valentinesday cards she had found in one of her storage units. 💌 These are from the 1930s/1940s! She was a third generation antique dealer and she said she still has several full rooms to sort through! (I love the treasure hunt of that, it’s like exploring in your grandparents’ attic.) Anyway, I had to buy a couple cards because they’re completely charming. #happyvalentinesday, lovelies. 🥰 #valentines #romantic #flatlay #valentinesmood #vintageprops #propstyling #propstylist #photography
#ad If you’re looking for a romantic meal to mak #ad If you’re looking for a romantic meal to make for your sweetheart for Valentine’s Day this weekend, you’ve come to the right place! This meal is easy, fast (no one will guess it whips up in less than 15 minutes!), and impressive. And soooo good. 🥰

What’s on the menu? Pan seared chicken in a savory cream sauce. Steamed green beans. And Fresh Blends Ready to Cook Idaho Potatoes!

Let’s talk sides first. Steamed green beans are easy, and they round out the meal well. Or you could go with broccoli if you want.

The real star of the side dish show are these flavorful @eagleeyeproduce potatoes! They’re family grown in Idaho. Fresh-cut, never cooked, never frozen, with no preservatives. And they cook up easily with a one-step cooking process (just 8 minutes in the microwave, or you can do them on the stovetop to get them crispy). Check out their website to find their store locator to see where they’re available near you --> https://eagleeyeproduce.com/store-locator/

And now the chicken! Inspired by the famous “Marry Me Chicken”, this recipe checks all the right boxes and has all the bells and whistles. Chicken cutlets cook up quick on the stovetop, and then a luscious cream sauce flavored with garlic, fresh herbs, and sundried tomatoes cooks in the same skillet. Take a look at the recipe in the comments below.

Who says a beautiful, romantic meal has to be complicated, right? ❤️

This small batch recipe of Red Velvet Cupcakes is This small batch recipe of Red Velvet Cupcakes is the perfect dessert for you and your sweetheart this Valentine's Day, and it's even more special because it was made for a cause. ❤️

This is the 5th year in a row that Julie from @thelittlekitchn has organized the Cookies for Kid's Cancer Valentine's Event to raise money and awareness for childhood cancer, and I'm honored to be part of it.

Cancer is the top cause of death of children by disease in the U.S. There are 40,000 U.S. children actively battling cancer right now. And the National Cancer Institute’s budget for childhood cancer is less than 4%.⁣
⁣
You can help make a difference by donating to @cookies4kids. Our goal is to raise at least $3000. Thank you to @OXO, @Mediavine and @Dixie_Crystals who have each pledged to match our donations raised through this campaign up to $3000!⁣
